JoyRide Center is a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center on 10 beautiful acres in Magnolia, Texas, just a short drive from Tomball and The Woodlands. JoyRide was founded in 2009 by a group of visionaries looking to create a program with a "Clients First" philosophy, always striving to value quality over quantity. After years of growth and through the tireless support of board, staff, volunteers and clients, we are still blessed to be able to hold true to this core value

Since 2009, we have provided equine-assisted services through therapeutic riding. In 2013, our PREP Day Program was founded, offering a day program where adults with different abilities can find more joy in their lives. In 2022 added Equine Assisted Learning, programs that focus on mental wellness through equine activities. JoyRide is proud to serve our veterans through our Operation Equine program.

WHY THE HORSE?

The horse's movement can be manipulated in many ways to address an extremely broad range of system impairments, and meet individualized rider needs.

A horse takes approximately 3000 steps in 30 minutes, moving the rider's pelvis with the same 3-dimensional movement that occurs in the natural human walking pattern.
